To teach percussion instruments, the School of Musical Art uses the methods of famous authors of different schools from the classical to the modern school:
- Günther Kiesant “Percussion School” is a classical school for teaching percussion and percussion (bongs, congas, kettledrums). We use the methods of this school in teaching the beginners, as there is a training in musical literacy, rascoordination on the installation of hands and feet, stacking with different combinations of eighths, sixteenths, triplets.
- Methods of modern schools “Modern drumming”-Diethard Stein-include in the course of training a large number of exercises, rudiments, prescribed party drums for the playback, rim solo, snare drum solo, modern and classical styles (from waltz, march, swing, to techno, funk, drum-n-base).
- A video school of popular drummer Jojo Mayer’s “Secret Weapon for Drummer”. The author demonstrates proper hand placement (depending on the style of playing), fine hand and finger technique, many styles, improvisations.
- For advanced students who have mastered the basic styles of playing, fine technique, have a lot of strokes, improvisation, we offer Dave Wakel’s Solo, which raises the level many times, but requires a lot of stamina and patience.
